Neil Saker,

Neil Saker is the IMF’s former Resident Representative to Mongolia. Previously he has served as mission chief for Timor-Leste. He has been at the IMF for over 18 years. In addition to working in the Asia and Pacific Department, he has worked in the IMF’s Monetary and Capital Markets Department on a wide range of financial sector issues and the IMF-STI in Singapore where helped trained Asian officials in macroeconomic and financial sector issues. Prior to joining the IMF, he was a Director and Head of Asian Economic Research at Societe Generale Investment Bank, based in Singapore and has worked at the Bank of England as an international economist. He holds degrees in international and development economics from the London School of Economics and the School of Oriental and African Studies, both University of London.

Khine Tun
joined the IMF Myanmar Office in January 2014. He is in charge of data management and economic analysis. He holds degrees from Yangon Institute of
Economics (B.Com and M.Dev.S) and Kyung Hee University of South Korea (M.A., Economics).

Nandar Hlaing,

Nandar Hlaing joined the IMF Myanmar Office in June 2013, a founding member of the new office. She manages all the administrative and budget related work in the office.
She holds degrees from Yangon University (B.A-English (Hon)) and Yangon Institute of Economics (MPA).

He was selected to work for the IMF Myanmar Office in January 2014. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Distance Education,
Myanmar.
